We made a very difficult decision of putting our dog down today and the very insensitive staff insisted that we try more treatment before we euthanize him. I can’t remember a time where I was more infuriated and embarrassed in my entire life. My suggestion is to stay far away from this clinic.
Dr. Abdalla is the best. He is compassionate and very involved in the emotional as well as physical lives of his patients. He has bee very sympathetic about having to put down a cat I rescued. When I took my 2 new kitties in for vaccination & check ups he remembered my sad experience and was happy I have 2 healthy cats finally. The reason I didn't give 5 starts is the price for nail trims which is $18/cat. Other veterinarian clinics charge $12/cat. When I asked the office manager about a discount or only trimming front claws she was dismissive and was not willing to work with me. Decatur veterinary clinic trims claws for $12/cat so I'll go there. The office manager is not an asset to this operation.
Dr. Abdalla treats our dogs better than our human doctors treat us! He helped our boy Newfie pup when other vets did not find his underlying illness. Our dogs actually like seeing him, even with getting shots, and temp checks. The staff has always been able to work us in when it was urgent, no matter how busy they were. We will bring our Newfies here exclusively. The Dr is sincere in his love of animals.
The absolute best vet I have ever went to! They took care of my dog like royalty and answered every question I had.
Was very fond of them until they displayed horrible ethics and lack of responsibility for their shortcomings. They had a computer system failure and lost all records to all their patients. I am unable to get my dog groomed now and no one will take him because the hospital has no records that he is up to date on his shots. Tags mean nothing, bank statement to show i paid the hospital $142 just 5 months ago mean nothing either!! Mooresville Animal Hospital's response, "There is absolutely nothing I can do to help. Unless we know you and recognize you personally, you have to pay for his vaccinations again"!! So disappointed in this place. Looks like I will be driving my dog clear across town for his vetting and groomer needs......after I pay for his vaccinations again!!
