This is by far the worst Car repair place in Indiana. After thousands of dollars in repair the Car lasted on more month and broke down again. Also a friend of mine purchased a Vehicle from Sheridan and guess what...It broke down BEYOND repair after only 6 Months. I'm not saying the owner is a bad person BUT his Team is beyond incompetent.
Terrible isn't the right word for this place. If your a female, NEVER go there without your b/f, husband or a trustworthy car competent male present. We will never go back. Extremely over-priced. Car wouldn't start, had it towed there, Charged my g/f $65 for the tow (which was the only reasonable part of the entire process) and another $230 for labor when all they did was run a few tests and "try" to remove the spark plugs. Wanted $2000+labor for a used cylinder head cause the spark plugs wouldnt come out. My gpa towed the car home, and my dad pulled the plugs out without any problem and fixed the damn car for $20. I will NEVER GO BACK to that place. They tried to rip my g/f off by having her pay for a fix that wasn't needed. Nothing but scam artists.
Great Service !! Ny car quit at McDonalds and one of the patrons there told me about Sheridan Automotive. So I called and they had it towed in, gave me a shuttle home, fixed it the same day, gave me a ride back to the shop, all in the same day. I've had repairs done at other shops in town that took several days. It's hard to do anything if your cars in the shop.
